Anthony and his Great-Great Grams! She is so cute with him. She gets all 4'11" of herself situated in the chair, arms out "I'm ready!" The matriarch definitely gets her baby fix in.

Happy 88th Grams!
Ok so this was the weekend before the Follies...hey! It's my post I can do it any way I want! My Grams turned 88 on 26 March. Would've been my grandma Perkins b-day too, I think she would've been 100 ...it's also our anniversary (Eric and I. Happy 13th to us!) We attended church w/ Grams and served b-day cake. A party designed by her! Love ya Grams.
Isn't he B-E-A-utiful?
Special backstage visitor
Impossible, I actually posted a picture of me! Yes, that is me...a brunette. This may be my real hair color...anyway...L'il Bit came to the show on Saturday night and visited his Meemaw backstage. He was full of giggles. This was my 10th show for the Follies. I sang "The Rose". Hopefully when I get the DVD I can post Lulu & gang doing the "Happy Hands Club" signing for their closing night prank. It was great! They wore "Vote for Pedro"shirts, wigs, boots, glasses. (It's a Napolean Dynamite thing if you don't know) I was also credited this show as "Vocal Director". There was a neat write up about the sounds this year being reminiscent of Motown. I was awarded the "Producers Award" and was very humbled. I'd had a Baaaaaaaaad attitude because I had no lines blah, blah, blah. Don't you hate having to take a hard look at yourself when you find out you're not who you think you are? Anyway, Friday night I was also asked to lead a prayer for the cast...who says "God" things don't happen anywhere but "God" places?
Lulu Follies 2007 "Cheers!"
Here's Miss Lulu in her "Clapper girl" outfit. She was the one who started each scene "Act I Scene I Take I" that type of thing. I was so proud of her! She learned several lines and cues and also played an orphan. She and two other kids sang "Centerfield" (you know!?! "Put me in coach, I'm ready to play today!"). The Follies are a benefit for the Oregon Lions Sight and hearing Foundation. The Mid Columbia Lions' Follies has raised over a quarter of a million dollars in its 31 year history! Now that's volunteerism. This was Lulu's 4th show.
